Professor and Bachelor’s degree in Geography (Universidad Nacional de Cuyo).
Environmental Training Specialist (Latin American Faculty of Environmental Sciences MAB-UNESCO).

Academic interests: Her research contributes to the knowledge of drylands, especially the integrated assessment of desertification as a complex environmental problem. She has a special interest in the implementation of local development processes with endogenous resources of the territory and participatory approaches, which allow the recovery of degraded environments. Its themes are implemented through Territorial Planning processes.

PhD. in Philosophy
Technician in Nature Conservation and Technician in Tourism.

Academic interests: my research focuses on the planning and management of green spaces and peri-urban and remote natural areas including recreation and tourism in nature. Likewise, I study nature-society interactions incorporating knowledge from different disciplines such as Human Geography, Environmental or Integrated Geography, Environmental Psychology, Environmental Sociology. My studies include the construction of space as the sense of belonging, perceptions, attitudes and socio-environmental values. Some of the tools I use to carry out my studies are surveys and interviews complemented with BIG-DATA and new ICT tools to then analyse the information in an integrated way using Geographic Information Systems -GIS or GIS- and spatial statistical analysis as well as qualitative analysis including Sentiment Analysis or Sentiment Analysis.

I am a biologist; my studies have focused on the group of mammals always within the framework of research on ecology and conservation. For the last 10 years I have been in charge of the management of Ñacuñan Biosphere Reserve – IADIZA, CONICET. In it operates a biological station where various investigations are carried out on the biodiversity of the Monte Desert. In addition, I actively participate in planning, management and conservation projects of protected areas in the province of Mendoza. I am a member of the Argentine Network of Biosphere Reserves and I have participated in several seminars in Ibero-America on the conservation of this type of UNESCO reserves.
