The main objective of the Behavioral Ecology Research team (IADIZA-CONICET) is to achieve a detailed understanding of animal behavior by carrying out integrated studies. Our lines of research involve the study of life history traits, reproductive biology, physiology, conservation, habitat use, and communication. Through detailed and methodical observation of animal behavior in the field, we test hypotheses within the framework of natural selection. Our main study models are wild birds in natural, rural and urban environments.
