Geologist Universidad Nacional de San Juan (1996). PhD Universidad Nacional de San Juan (2004). CONICET Full researcher. Professor Agronomic Faculty, Universidad Nacional de Cuyo. Background expertise in Quaternary, Landslides, and Geomorphology. My research field involves Quaternary stratigraphy, Paleoseismology, Neotectonics, landslides, natural hazards, catastrophic outburst floods from glacier- and landslides-dammed lakes, and recent environmental change. My interdisciplinary research is done in collaboration with geologists, physical geographers, geophysics, civil engineers, environmental resources engineers, anthropologists, archeologists, and other fields.

Master in Evaluation and Management of the environment and Mountainous Landscapes, With Second class Honors at the Institut de Géographie Alpine (2009).  PhD in geography at PACTE laboratories (Politiques publiques, action politique, Territoires) funded by the Rhône-Alpes Region (2014). Proposition of an approach and a methodology for assessing human exposure, integrating the mobility, in a seismic crisis period. This was applied to the case of the earthquake in Lorca ( Spain ) of May 11 , 2011. Postdoctoral Fellowship in the project MobiClimEx fnanced by the French National Research Agency (ANR) (2016). Study of residential mobility in extreme hydrometeorological periods. Currently, Postdoctoral Fellowship funded by CONICET: Estimation of the seismic hazard in northern Mendoza oasis by applying GIS. Geógrafa egresada de la Facultad de Filosofá y Letras de la UNCUyo. Magister en Dinámica natural y riesgos por la Universidad de Paris Diderot (Paris VII). Actualmente becaria doctoral de CONICET y formo parte del grupo de investigación de Geomorfología y Cuaternario dirigido por la Dra. Stella Moreiras. Mi tema de investigación es el Análisis del rompimiento de diques naturales en los Andes Centrales (dinámica de los GLOFs - Glacial Lake Outburst Floods) y mis directores de tesis son la Dra. Stella Moreiras y el Dr. Jan Klimes del Instituto de Estructura y Mecánica de Rocas de la Academia de Ciencias de República Checa.

Geologist graduated at the Universidad Nacional de Río Negro (2014). I am currently a PhD student from CONICET and member of the Gemorphology and Quaternary research team of the Instituto Argentino de Nivología y Glaciología. The general purpose of my doctoral thesis is the relationship between landslides and climate variability in the Central and Semidesert Andes (30°-32° S).
